In 2018 Anuel AA released his highly anticipated album, Real Hasta la Muerte, which hit #1 on Apple Music and was the #4 most downloaded album in the world in less than 24 hours. The album was also recognized as the most listened to Latin Album during its first week after release on Apple Music worldwide and went Platinum. Following the successful release of Real Hasta la Muerte, Anuel embarked on a sold-out US tour, and by the end of 2018 he was recognized as YouTube’s most watched artist for more than 26 consecutive weeks. Anuel continued his impressive streak in 2019 by being among Billboard’s top 50 best Latin albums of the decade with Real Hasta la Muerte. Anuel kicked off 2020 by collaborating with multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter, philanthropist, and global recording artist Shakira on “Me Gusta.” In 2020, his album Emmanuel was released. Anuel received 11 nominations for the 2020 Billboard Latin Music Awards as well as 7 nominations for Latin GRAMMYs.
